Receptionist / Administration Officer

We are currently looking for a suitable candidate to fill the full-time position available for an experienced receptionist/administration officer with an immediate start.  


Receptionist / Administration Officer

We are looking for someone to share our values of Safety, Quality, Equality, Honesty and Respect. 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors, sub-contractors and stake holders of Mainetec, while providing high quality customer service both in person and over the phone.
  • Provide administration support to other staff as required.
  • Managing all aspects of the daily office functions.
  • Management of multiple mailboxes.
  • Document management.
  • Manage promotional items & social media.
  • Travel bookings.
  • Purchasing support.
  • Assist accounts department with general accounting duties.

To succeed in this role, applicants must be able to demonstrate following personal attributes and skills:

  • Outstanding telephone manner
  • Proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook 
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Ability to adapt to easily changing work commitments
  • Flexible can-do attitude
  • Self-motivated team player, but able to work independently
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to maintain a high level of efficiency in a busy and demanding environment

Attributes that will be highly regarded:
