Working closely with the Senior Management Account, our new role would suit a newly qualified or experienced Junior Accountant. The role will support the entire Mainetec team with financial transactions.  This role will be based in our Mackay Office. 

Please note this is not a FIFO Role. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead our accounts receivable and debtor functions.
  • Provide forecasting and WIP reporting.
  • Produce financial reports.
  • Provide support for the Senior Management Accountant.
  • Process EOM reconciliations. 
  • Complete BAS.
  • Budget preparation support.

About you

  • Qualification in Bookkeeping or at least 5 years experience with accounts payable and receivable.
  • Recent experience with managing employees.
  • Experienced in end of month procedures and preparing budgets
  • Be able to build relationships and networks quickly to assist with business growth 
  • Well-developed computer skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, MYOB EXO, and Business.
