Clad Plate

Mainetec offers Chromium Overlay (clad) wear plate that is manufactured using an arc welding process to apply a hard facing overlay to a mild steel base plate. Clad plate is used for extreme abrasion protection in low to medium impact applications. Clad plate is available in a wide range of sizes from 6mm on 6mm through to 17mm on 12mm and can be used in a broad range of applications, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Chutes
• Bucket wear liners
• Conveyor skirt liners
• Bin/hopper liners
• Impact walls
• Truck tray liners
• General wear plates

White Iron

Mainetec offer white iron wear products with a wide range of bars and buttons available in stock. Our white iron products have a hardness range of 650-700 Brinell, with high chromium content. Our white iron products are vacuum braised to a mild steel backing to provide maximum abrasion resistance and retain good impact properties at an affordable price point.

In addition to standard white iron products, we can also manufacture custom sizes to suit the specific requirements and applications you need.
